Review by hotel critic
Nestled conveniently in the heart of Tirano, this hotel offers a blend of comfort and value that is hard to beat. Just a five-minute stroll from the RhB station, it's ideally positioned for those seeking to catch the morning Bernina Express. Given the luxury often associated with the area, the pricing here stood out as remarkably reasonable. My room was compact but functional, featuring ample storage with a generous wardrobe and a flat-screen TV for some evening relaxation. The cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom was commendable, and I appreciated the lovely view outside my window, making for a quaint escape. The hotel staff were genuinely helpful; I particularly liked the convenience of the late check-in option. Basic amenities such as free Wi-Fi and an electric kettle were handy, although I did find the heating a bit inconsistent at times. While it might not boast all the extravagant luxuries of high-end resorts, the overall value proposition is strong. This hotel serves as a comfortable base for your explorations, balancing affordability and essential amenities without compromising the cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming after a long day of adventure.
